An Inspiring Breast Cancer Story

"Jane Doe "

"Breast Cancer Saved My Life"
says Jane Doe

Phoenix woman rises from the ashes...

Jane Fendelman was relieved to find out she might die from the aggressive Cancer.
During the year prior to her 2005 Breast Cancer diagnosis,
Jane Fendelman and her (then) husband experienced a devastating miscarriage... three months later he got together with Jane's friend, then Jane's father died suddenly... two months after that, she was diagnosed with an aggressive, grade three lump in her left breast.  Deeply heartbroken, Jane decided dying didn't sound so bad.

Jane needed to talk about things that her friends and family were not comfortable with ... like death and dying.  With no one to turn to, a 40% chance to survive, and an intention to say what she felt needed saying before she died, she started talking to her video camera.  Jane could never have predicted what happened next.  The video-taping was deeply healing for Jane and miraculously uplifting to others.  Jane says, "The whole experience gave me wings.  I'm so lucky I got Cancer."  To see the "Jane Doe" 18 minute highlights click here.

                                                  Jane Doe the Docu-Series

Jane Doe is the extremely personal, uplifting, awe-inspiring video diary of Jane's oddessy, from devastation and diagnosis to phenomenal triumph: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

The first four, 22-minute episodes of Jane Doe  the docu-series have been made into a 90 minute film which will be honored at the Women's Film and Television Showcase on December 7th, 2008 at the Pacific Design Center's Silver Screen Theatre in West Hollywood California on.

Jane's wish is to make a Jane Doe movie part II and III or create a weekly half-hour TV series with the 100's of hours not yet edited that Jane shot during her amazing journey through the rite of passage that is cancer.

Any monies generated by Jane Doe will be earmarked to benefit the
Phoenix Rising Healing Center.

"Cancer is a powerful teacher, I feel lucky I got it.   I forgot I had wings on my back," says Jane.
